Thoughts on Invesco
Havent heard much about the firm on this forum, any thoughts on the firm? Culture, progression, compensation, prestige etc? For both the US and UK offices. Any insights would be great

I think the former oppenheimer funds within invesco are solid
The above guy doesn’t know what he is talking about. I work in the industry. Invesco has been stagnant for long and has experienced greater outflows.
Have spoken to mentors in the industry and can concur. Solid place to start a career but leagues below the likes of Capital Group / Blackrock / PIMCO / Wellington
Fire your mentors if they put BlackRock in the same league as those other 3

Blackrock and Vanguard have huge active businesses. Don’t be deceive by their large passive AUM

I know someone who joined one of Invesco’s active investing teams out of undergrad and then left for a Citadel cub after two years
They're not the best performing shop on the street, but not the worst. Pretty standard Multi-National Asset Manager based on what I've heard.
Used to work there for a bit. Compensation is par for the course, nothing to write home about and culture can vary a lot based on what team you are talking about. Some teams are good but I’ve heard stories where some team meeting basically turned into a shouting contest, so YMMV.
How is compensation and bonus like? As well as prestige wise, how are they perceived and potential exit opportunities?
UK office is in Henley-on-Thames. Not London.
