I'm confused why you listed two managers that are known for their passive products, not active ones. weird choice for someone in the industry.

I know someone who joined one of Invesco’s active investing teams out of undergrad and then left for a Citadel cub after two years

Used to work there for a bit. Compensation is par for the course, nothing to write home about and culture can vary a lot based on what team you are talking about. Some teams are good but I’ve heard stories where some team meeting basically turned into a shouting contest, so YMMV.

How is compensation and bonus like? As well as prestige wise, how are they perceived and potential exit opportunities?
