Tips for BlackRock - Alternative Investment Interview
I have a phone interview coming up for Blackrocks alternative investment division. They didn't saw which group. I'm a sophomore. What kind of technical questions can I expect?
I'm also interested in this. Have an interview with the BAI team as well. Would appreciate any advice from people who have gone through this interview process especially with regards to technical questions. I know the typical investment banking technicals but I'm less familiar with these.

Although I haven't been through their interview process I did a mock interview with an alumni from BlackRock who came through to our school. It was mostly fit, behavioral since it was not any position related. I can list those if you wish but they are mainly "walk me through your resume", "tell us your experience at___", "do you prefer to work as a team or individual please elaborate", "how are your quant skills", etc.
Did you apply online through their drop box or did you haven an alumni pass along your resume??

Likewise for my situation. I am thinking of having that alumni pass along my resume to their FI group and see where it goes. Best of luck.
