Trader Pay at AM/LO?
Just wondering if someone can share some insight around Equity Trader comps at large AMs or LO funds. I’m thinking along lines of Cap Grp, Wellington, FMR/FIL, Amundi, RBC etc etc. HF trader comps take all the spotlight but seems not much out there for the AMs.
Thinking of making move from sellside, position seems a bit sleepy but more stable/actual wfh benefits. Looking at London and Asia if helps. I’m guessing base is likely slightly higher than I get now (associate at US BB), but progression likely not as good? What about bonuses?
thanks

Surprised buyside equity traders are still a thing for LO AM.
Options…
Everyone keeps talking about how much HF traders make, are we talking about prop trading or execution trading? Bc if it's the latter then they arent actually generating alpha thus would be treated as a cost center right?
On a side note, are prop firms even considered as hedge funds?
