What does "Smart dress" mean in 2023?
I have to attend a 3 day offsite for my firm (REPE mega fund) in NY in August, and they said to wear "smart dress" (no jeans or sweat pants). Since I'm from the UK, I'm not sure what is appropriate these days for the US - any suggestions on current fashion trends?
I think that means khakis and a collared shirt or a button down, no tie. Wear summery dress shoes or just normal dress shoes.
