Why AM?
Sophomore at target school studying political economy. No finance experience; club engagements/internships have been in consulting and classes are mostly economics, with some stats and econometrics. Did GSAM virtual insights and liked the people I talked to. The work seems interesting too, though I can't claim to completely understand what it entails yet.
Looking for any insights on what good responses for "why AM?" would be for a non-traditional/non-finance background. I'm thinking of talking about my problem-solving and client communication skills from consulting experiences, but missing a link between my academic interests (politics and econ) and AM. Thank you!
Well politics and econ are big drivers of the markets, asset management is about public investing and markets so bridge the gap
