WM exit opps

Hey guys,

I’m mid to late 20s, currently doing private wealth management as a portfolio associate and am trying to move into something more research-oriented, let’s say equity research or credit. Passed L1 of the CFA and will be taking L2 in a few months. Has anyone had any success landing research/buy side roles without going the MBA route?
