Are you referring to Wolverine Trading, the Chicago prop shop?
They're a very solid firm to work for- certainly in the league of Peak6, CTC, the Gelber Group. Not sure they are at the level of Jump or Getco.
It's been so many years since I was recruiting in Chicago, but they almost have to do something with listed markets there.
They have an Asset Management arm, and I was wondering about the reputation of that.. I know their main trading division is strong in Chicago.

Yeah. I'm torn between saying "I don't have a clue" and "I don't know, but a lot of Chicago prop shops have been moving to VC stuff."
I read an article on Wolverine that they won a convertible arbitrage fund of the year award a couple years ago... I could be wrong but that strategy has $1.2b in AUM, which is huge.
Wolverine AM as a whole manages $5.7b per their 2012 SEC filings.

heard good things about them from my bank's RX team, good distressed fund. i know that's not much but i figured since no one else answered.
