Deloitte Monitor in Australia?

Hi all,

Reading a lot about Deloitte Monitor in the US / Europe. Anyone able to share where they sit in Australia among the other consultancies as well as how they sit within Deloitte (e.g. Higher comp, diff. staffing, etc.)??

Cheers

Deloitte went thru a reorganization globally last year. Monitor is pretty much fully integrated into Deloitte. We don't even use the name Monitor anymore. It's been rebranded to Strategy & Business Design within the Strategy, Analytics & M&A portfolio offering.

Monitor did offer higher comp a few years ago but now salaries are the same across consulting practices at least for new grads. Staffing-wise, the legacy Monitor team together with M&A consulting and some other teams within Strategy, Analytics & M&A have the same resource manager.

Case in point is that Monitor is fully integrated. It is like any other consulting team at Deloitte but with a focus on strategy (roughly 40% of the work is strategy). If you want to do strategy, MBB, OW and Kearney are better places to be.
