Very few -- people here and there start blogs but don't sustain them. Even Vault went to seed. It's a shame there aren't more such resources.

No. Vault isn't that much more active either though.. Atleast it wasn't the last time I looked at it.
A lot of the content on vault is free, the message boards are free as long as you are not looking at a post older than 60 days
vault boards are pretty messy to read through

Agreed. The site has a free 6-hour tutorial on case interview as well.
But in the end it depends on what kind of consulting you want in. There is management, IT, Econ and so on...
