MBB from no-name internship

Hi. ended up failing at recruiting despite several final rounds at top consulting firms (no mbb though). ended up with a management consulting internship at a small no-name boutique. very little money + somewhat remote as well.

have tons and tons of student club consulting experience - project lead for social consulting, student consultant to a bunch of firms. + club leadership experience (though not president/director).

is mbb completely out of the picture for full time recruiting with my profile? should i only target tier 2+?

at this stage is there anything i can do to make this right? i have tremendous regret over all the final rounds i have fumbled. i keep going back to my answers and wishing i had changed a sentence or two. really hope this isn't the end.

some more context: Canadian target business school known for grade deflation, 3.5 gpa + awards.

Yes there are still chances you make it to MBB. In the US at least there are plenty of people at target schools who recruit full time into Mbb without any prior consulting experience. This is an industry that cares a ton about credentials and as long as you go to a great school you’ll have a chance.

You also gotta chill bro I saw your previous post too. MBB or bust is never a good strategy either for recruiting, or your mental health. You should target every consulting firm that comes on campus to your school
