Finance Rotational Programs - Solid IB Backup Plan?

Looking for some insight on finance rotational programs for undergrads. I go to a NESCAC school (northeast liberal arts) which has no finance program. I'm studying Econ, which is obviously different, and looking to recruit for IB in the year ahead. Our school places reasonably well in IB for what it is, but I obviously want a backup plan and I think FP&A roles seem fairly interesting. That said, I don't know whether such programs are even remotely feasible for someone not able to major in finance. Would love to hear whether it's possible to get into one of the F500 finance rotational programs as a liberal arts major, or whether that door is closed without studying finance/accounting.

And, would also love to hear from those of you who successfully broke into IB as Econ/liberal arts majors. Specifically, what were your backup plans in case things didn't work out, or, as might be the case for my class, you wound up going through IB recruiting in the middle of a recession
