It depends on sector.. Alot. But I would put EvercoreISI, Wolfe & JPM at the top. Again, BoFa, MS, CS have a few groups that are top ranked too, which is why this would be much more helpful if you asked which bank is the best for O&G, or Fintech, or semiconductors etc etc.
From what I understand, JPM is the number 1 by a decent margin followed by Evercore and BAML.
Wolfe has a good reputation, but I didn’t think they were up there at the top. Speaking of boutiques/MM, where would you guys put Jefferies, Cowan, Blair, Needham, etc?
Finally, who belongs at the bottom? I’ve heard Oppenheimer has a not so great reputation, but not sure personally.
It varies by year. But right now JPM has the most #1 ranked analysts. So, yeah JPM at #1. Too lazy to do it but I think a strong case can be made for Evercore at #2.

Interested to know as well, for Credit Suisse and Barclays.
Anyone have any insight on top ER firms in Europe?
In no particular order: MS, UBS, Exane, JPM, Citi, BamL, Redburn
How about CS and Barclays?
Bump interested
The usual suspects besides Exane, New Street Research (TMT) and Redburn
Baird, Cowen, and Jefferies are all very strong as well in addition to JPM and CS. Baird I believe was ranked #1 by Greenwich this past year.
