Anyone get a second round interview for the Equity Research Summer Associate role (2021) at Credit Suisse?
Title says it all. There’s almost no recent information on here about equity research interviews.
The first round interview was just an informal qualitative interview, no technicals all fit, with the COO for me.
1st round interview dates: January 18th – 22nd.
Update for future applicants: final round of interviews consists of 3 30-minute interviews via Zoom this year.
Dates: 2/4 – 2/5

Did you get the call for second round? Or where did you hear this info?
No second rounds. Just first then final round.
Again, no technicals. Just experience questions like, “name a time when _____” and “how’d you respond when faced with ___?”
90% of the questions just wanted to know if you liked researching. Didn’t hear modeling or technicals mentioned at all with the exception of asking if most interested in modeling, research or client relations.
There was 1 stock pitch, which was confusing because all the interviewers were from different coverage groups so it was hard to know which industry they wanted it from. Just know most of the metrics in the industry/company since they will look up the stock you choose (EPS/PEG specifically mentioned).
Every interviewer had a specific script that they had questions from.
Well I too went through the first round but have yet to receive the final round invite...guess this one's crossed off

Had my final round yesterday afternoon and got an offer around 7pm.
May I know which office did you apply? I had my 2nd round almost 1 month ago and no feedback yet
