There are many books for the other series exams but what is the best way to study for the Series 86/87 exams on your own?
I was reached out to by someone who liked some of my stuff but told me I would have to study on my own and the firm would sponsor the exams.

STC, dont read the book, just do the online exams 2 times each. First time with review after each question, the second time straight through. 86 should take 2-3 weeks of studying if youre working full time, 87 1 week. Good luck
Did you take S87 with STC materials as well? Can you shed some light if the STC materials are good enough to pass S87?
I looked into it, STC is only available resource for 86. I failed it once after passing 87,63 ,SIE after just studying a week. What helped the second time was listening to the lectures believe it or not and doing the practice tests as many times as possible
