"quantitative analysis" is pretty vague. What would be your focus (e.g., asset class)?
Regardless, transitioning into most any role is doable early on in your career (inside of 5 years) if you're talented.
It’s for a real estate focused investment bank. The job would, from my understanding, focus on gathering market data, finding NAVs, etc. for publicly traded REITs. It would be in support of their IB and ER functions.

Ok I assumed this should be the right place to place this post. But anyways what exactly does a "quantitative analyst" do? Can somebody with experience please give me a job description of a quantitative analyst?
I know I just could have easily google searched it but I like to hear others opinions because idk how accurate Bls.gov is.

There are many types of Quants. Some are alike and some are not depending of the firm and the context of either backoffice or middle office. Some quants support traders. Some quants simply help develop products or platforms.
Quants vary in their lifestyle as well, but the hours are generally good.
Anyway, you're too lazy to use Google, according to your post, and they're tons of books on this... so GTFO.
