Seeking advice/commentary on equity research report

Hello all,

I'm a senior at a target school in NYC with a summer of internship experience at a quant shop. I'm looking to transition toward equity research or perhaps PE.

I've produced a write-up on Axon Enterprise (AAXN). As I'm planning on using this as I apply for jobs I would like some commentary on the work. I am relatively new at this and would like to improve in any way I can. To put it bluntly, I need to know if this report makes me look stupid. Any and all (constructive) thoughts welcomed and appreciated.

Thank you.

I broke into SS ER from corporate finance and I think writing my own research reports was the biggest differentiators for me. I would consider writing a much shorter 1-2 page report that an analyst will actually take the time to read. Then be prepared to talk a lot about it in an interview. The point of the report isn't so much to show how smart you are but to show that you are really interested and putting the extra work in that other candidates aren't. good luck!.
