I’ll bite - top down listing:

Driver: Taylormade - hands down a driver company

3w/5w: PXG - very personal but they have some great woods (driver is trash)

Hybrid: PXG, Titleist - very personal and whichever you hit best

Irons: Miura, Titleist - if you’re below a 5 handicap then need to use forged irons (fun fact: tiger never used Nike clubs, he used Titleist early on with a Nike logo and then used Miura later on)

Wedges: Vokey Wedge Works wedges - if you’re a scratch golfer then the hand ground wedges are great. I can really tell the difference and have them ground to my custom specs

Putter: Scotty Cameron Circle T - Have a couple from my junior/college golf days. Both are custom to my specs and different heads.

Balls: Pro V 1

Bag: Titleist Players Caddy Bag - they only sell them at nice courses, but look great w the leather and caddies love how light they are and the single strap only (for when they double bag it walking)

I play slightly different clubs than described above, but can’t go wrong with what I described. Most important is to get fit on an actual range with the balls you use (no substitute for how a ball flies in the air vs indoor trackman)

Virtually all of these are terrible selections. You just posted a list of things you like, not OP's request of prestigious. Just like with any other products, if they are mass market, then they are not prestigious. C'mon, son.

Probably best take imo, aside the PXG comment as that's mainly personal preference. It's a good balance of expensive and high quality clubs. Golfers, will be very impressed, until they see you swing.

Please don't get Honmas, it's literally just to flex. I've had friends try it and they've all told me it's mid. It's expensive cause of the expensive materials that go into making it. If you have these you're either a 70y/o japanese business man or a clown, no in between.

If you're truly looking for prestigious brands, then you have to look at the companies that will customize things for you. Without question, the most prestigious of these is PING.

You cannot buy PING clubs off the rack (at least for most of their stuff - they have some junior sets that aren't custom, stuff like that). You have to go to one of their certified fitters and they will find the right length, lie angle and grip size for you. They then put in the order and you get a set that was put together just for you with a unique serial number so you can order replacements (or for stolen clubs) in the future; it takes about 3-4 weeks for you to get them. I went through this process about 10 years ago and my enjoyment of the game has improved tremendously. It's not cheap, but if you really enjoy the game then getting fitted is a no-brainer.

I have paired this with a PING DLX bag that is better than your nylon crap while not quite being the size of a massive staff bag. Other than some special arrangement where you can get clubs made for you by master makers, I think getting a custom set of PINGs is the most prestigious golf set you can acquire.

I didn’t know PING offered that. I have a set of g25s from PING that were off the rack. Fantastic set and I’ve had them for almost 10 years now

Only thing I’d want to upgrade is my 60 which is older than I am. Problem is I’m so used to I don’t wanna pull the trigger on a nice upgrade.

Apparel wise, Peter Millar is king, literally and figuratively. Also some great brands include Holderness and Bourne and Zero Restriction - both make top notch stuff golf wise. But reiterating the above, Peter Millar is most prestigious hands down and can cover you head to toe.

Funniest

The most prestigious thing you can do in golf is shoot under par consistently. Doesn’t matter if you play with used clubs and $60 fugly golf shoes if you’re getting birdies.

I’d even say spending a ton of money on gear gives you negative prestige if you still suck. Nothing more embarrassing than pulling out your range finder, taking three practice swings with your custom fit irons and then shanking your Pro V1 into the woods.

Second Miura for most prestigious irons.

For wedges and putter, artisan is probably the highest prestige. Fittings for either are $300 and done by nike’s old club makers. Putters start at $900 and wedges start at $300. People fly into Fort Worth from all over for this experience.

If you want high prestige clubs with high prestige shafts, get yourself fitted at club champion or true spec.

Understandbly this is WSO and this question will come up....

The most prestigous is whatever fits your swing the best lol.

But if you want to know - Honma.

It's the shit that all the old men in Asia flash around for prestige. It also feels very nice for slower swing speed players.

Also, for irons, Miura - it's rumored that Tiger Woods played with these irons when we was dominating everyone (but had to keep it unbranded due to his Nike contract at the time)

Let's talk stereotypes and see what image you want:

> Titleist - traditional, white collar, tends to be for better players.  Most prestigious big name brand.  Great clubs, great brand.

> Taylormade - newer cool kid, arguably the best at tech, but gets eyerolls from golfers for coming out with new clubs too often.  Great clubs, new money vibe brand.

> Callaway - was cool in the 90s/early 00's, faded a bit, but have been strong since the mid 2010's (apex, epic, paradym).  Respectable if unexciting.  Great clubs, boring brand.

> Ping - great drivers, good woods, good irons, bad wedges, good putters.  Classic brand, well respected, not flashy, no marketing.  Great clubs.

> Mizuno - skip the woods, putters, and wedges.  For those who know or played junior golf, Mizuno forged irons carry a lot of respect.  For those who don't know, they're seen as a tennis shoe or baseball brand.

> PXG - avoid.  Might advertise as techy and cool and new...but they're all show.  Perform poorly in robotic testing.  Comes off as very try hard.

> Srixon - great irons but you'll have to justify them to everyone and explain that they're great clubs.  Many players went to Srixon irons when they became equipment free agents on on the PGA tour.

> Muira - prestigious, japanese forged, lots of stories on Tiger playing miuras with nike stamps.  That said, you cant shoot >90 and play miuras, will look bad.

> Cleveland / Cobra - even if Cobra has a great driver now and Cleveland had/has great wedges, these brands are outdated.  Avoid.
