I would vote for Jamie over every other Democrat besides maybe RFK Jr.

Bill's not wrong. Biden's fallen over and flubbed speeches with made up words more times than we've had rate hikes during his presidency it seems like, and every time they manage to come up with a half-assed excuse or the white house press has to come along to set the record straight. This along with what Dems are doing to Fetterman and Feinstein is just straight up elder abuse that manages to make even me, who hates these people to the core, feel bad for them.

I think it's rlly dangerous for them to let Biden walk around unassisted. He's fallen so many times already - at that age he can easily break his bones and even have a potentially fatal injury. My parents always make me hold my grandmother when she walks.

I'd vote for Dimon hands down. He's proven his worth by leading a systemically important institution for decades, not to mention his previous shrewd business experience. Out of all the candidates, he has the sharpest understanding of the economy, with decades of observing 1st-hand barometers of it. He's been an advisor to the President so he knows what's on the mind of the President.

Bill Ackman is a smart man, but he talks his book. Bill Ackman pushing Jamie Dimon or Vivek Ramaswamy like he has been are completely delusional behaviors which have no root in viable politics or any sort of rationality. It’s a rich guy’s way of congratulating his friends and getting their goodwill. He knows they don’t stand a chance, but they’re his friends and he compliments them.

You're definitely not wrong, but I gotta say I kind of like Vivek. I've heard good things from people who've worked with him and like the interviews of him I've seen. But he doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell, most likely won't even make the podium for the primary debates. If he does though it'll be interesting to see an Indian guy up there slugging it out with DeSantis and Trump.

I regularly speak with people who have worked with him too, and they say what I believe to be the truth: he’s a brilliant businessperson who has developed a highly sophisticated pharmaceutical research machine, but is otherwise personally unhinged.

When you hear him talk, he comes off like a manic cowboy. “Yippie-ki-yay, cowpokes, I’m gonna abolish the FBI, yeehaw.” He’s just a really brash guy who wants to wreck and reform stuff without any apparent understanding the consequences or any of the procedural prerequisites for doing things (which is an unusual trait in a pharma businessman).

Fair criticisms. Although, I actually agree with that sort of approach to mass reform without regard to the "norms". The process is the punishment in many cases with how burdensome government has become and I think it would benefit Americans across the board for someone to come in and flip the table. I had hoped Trump would have the balls to do it but then he went and brought in many of the same establishment hacks he campaigned on removing so clearly that was an abject failure, 2020 being a prime example of this. I'm a market purist in that I believe the most corrupting forces are generally those appointed by government to regulate a given sector or be given undo privileges to violate what is otherwise law in pursuit of their self-determined goals e.g. FDA, SEC, FBI, CIA, etc. It's hard to argue that these organizations don't need intensive reform but the concept of the deep state (unelected, appointed bureaucrats who can outlast any elected officials) is a direct impediment to that since the reform would threaten the effective fiefdoms they've cultivated within their respective branches.

Biggest thing is I just want a fucking young(er) person. I'm of the view that no one over the age of 75 should be allowed to hold elected public office under any circumstances. These demented old people with no proper understanding of technology or where we're headed as a society/species belong in an old folks home or at their mansions with a care nurse, not voting on policy by mashing it all into a single super bill with dozens of bullshit riders for their pet causes. Trump and Biden both should be wheeled out to pasture and left to enjoy the warmth of the sun while people who will actually have to live with the impact of policy for the coming decades are the ones deciding it. They're welcome to be advisors, if invited to do so, but from a political perspective they're good for nothing else.
