Make the most of networking with a legend

Apologies for the click bait title.

I am going to meet with a semi-retired HF founder who is very well known and a billionaire a few times over. I would never work at their firm (or want to work there) as my experience is a little different from their strategy. I am, however, looking to break into HFs and switch from where I am at (a no name LO).

How do I make the most of this meeting from a relationship standpoint? People always say things like make networking/ relationships that are mutually beneficial etc., but I have literally nothing to offer this person - he has access to way smarter people and connections, so it is unclear to me how to nurture this relationship and make this a positive experience for the person I am meeting with.

Any advice would be much appreciated - especially anyone more senior who is in a position to simply make a phone call and connect aspiring juniors, what would you appreciate or like to see or hear when meeting with someone like me. (Obviously "passion", but you get the idea)

Joking aside— in my experience networking as a student, someone in a senior position is aware that a more junior person isn't going to be able to help them that much. Sometimes they may just want to pass on knowledge and lend advice to help you out. Sometimes they may see potential in you and your genuine interest and that could be the upside for them- maybe they get you interested in what they do and you come work for them. It doesn't sound like that's what you want but you never know.

I'd go into it with an open mind and show your enthusiasm for the topic. Don't oversell it obviously.
