Sorry to hear that - not much you can do - although people will know you did the most work. People see through these things. You can also make sure people know he was a passenger subtly and this will damage him more net of any positives of him being on the deal.

To your comment "i know this is classic associate behaviour" - respectfully, shut the f*ck up. This isn't classic is any way. I'm assuming this is your frustration speaking but leave that kind of sh*t at the door people you post.

That's kinda how the model works...bankers senior to you almost always get the credit until you're an MD or at least a VP (credit on making the deliverables). Just expect it going forward and you'll be disappointed less next time

There is a difference on the aso thanking you and giving you credit vs. not at all. If the former, then they'll most likely step up to the plate for you and give you good reviews. If the latter, then you can mention this to other seniors that aren't on the deal and ask what they'd do in your shoes (politely of course)
