Includes training which can last for a couple of days to a full week. It does not matter, its an internship at a BB and you wont be doing "real work"--at least nothing compared to what you'll be doing when you start working FT.

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."

maxcI've always worked on high level stuff while interning. Maybe it is different at Piper Jaffray ;-)

What sort of high level stuff. I've accepted a S&T internship at a BB and frankly have no idea what I'l be doing. I found a few "day in the life" posts online but they don't really say much.

Above poster hit the nail on the head. You will basically have to try to learn as much as possible without pissing anyone off.

I'd try build some networks too, especially during training/orientation, you probably gonna meet people that you not gonna meet later.

Signs of Recession: Banker: “Where’s me Bonus?” Yuppie: “Whadya mean I have to actually work?” Fox Rock Mum: “Lidl’s the place to be seen in now!” Cowen: “It’s not my fault that me and my party are complete f**k-ups - it’s the recession silly!”
