1st year analyst Base Pay Increasing?
Currently AN1 base pay is around ~110K with ~60-70K in bonuses for most BB's and MM's. Will it increase anytime soon?

We’ll be lucky if these salaries even exist at all in a few years lmao
Barriers to entry starting a business / everyone and their mother trying to be an entrepreneur, hopefully the future produces more opportunity for M&A and restructuring deals.
1.) Salaries won't increase again soon (there is no reason banks would need to do this now vs in the past they were raising to stay inline with PE salaries at the associate level)
2.) $60-70k baseline bonus certainly is no guarantee (more likely where we stand in this market now but definitely varies a bit from firm-to-firm & person to person)
Some EBs are starting to do $120k base, but agree with above for the most part
Which ebs
Only bank I know that does 120 base for an1 is scotia …
Lots. Evercore & PJT are at 120 -- Centerview is at 130, Qatalyst & Tidal are others above market. Surprised an associate 3 is not informed on this.
