Where will you be interviewing in 3 weeks? FT processes are happening right now and likely wrap up in the next two weeks. You are fucked regardless and the only way to get unfucked is by networking. Why you want to wait 3 weeks to network is beyond me but do whatever you feel is most comfortable I guess.

Also not exactly sure why you want a CFA. The only place I see where it helps is for career switchers. I see you commented that headhunters dig CFAs, but do you know what headhunters really dig? Investment banking analysts.

Why are you studying for the CFA (especially L2) if you are recruiting for IB???? Genuinely confused

no my question was why are you trying to get a CFA designation in the first place if you are trying to get into IB. I am sorry but it is useless in this industry

edit: if it's your life goal to hold that CFA title, I am not stopping you, but all I am saying is that you gotta know your priorities right now

Firm by firm and group by group. Can be as long as weeks or months or can be as short as the next day. Some apps are there for admin purposes only as well so make sure to network to stay on top of it
