2026 FT Offer — Incoming Graduate in June 2025, What to Do?
Got a 2026 FT offer from a firm (also open to Winter 2025 grads). I’m graduating this June 2025—do I need to delay graduation to join? Or can I just work somewhere else in the meantime and start with them in Winter 2025?
Enjoy your vacation bro
curious how you got a 2026 ft offer as a 25 grad? but this shouldnt be a big deal, you can ask to start winter 25/jan 26 pending their needs and the worst they can say is no. just go travel or do some shit with friends, maybe find a fall 25 internship if you really want but i'd enjoy my freedom while it lasted. know some dec grads who did this when hiring was hotter but doesn't hurt to ask
The job description says that they are looking for 26 grads tho, dunno if they'll take my offer back if I say I graduated in 25 fall?
fall 2025 grad is the same as winter i'd say. i was more curious on how you got the ft 26 offer with a resume that doesn't have a sa 2025 and also this early in the cycle, can't think of many firms that have opened already
It's not an IB firm, but I was planning to graduate winter 25, decided to drop an additional major to graduate spring 25*(not fall 25)
how do you already have an offer?? what companies are out already
Chill, not IB
