3/2 MBA program or regular 4 years w/ PE internship as a sophomore?

Not very new to this site, but first post and would appreciate some advice regarding career direction.

Currently at a target/semi target think Michigan, Virginia, Indiana, or UNC with a little over a 3.4 GPA. I was fortunate enough to land a PE internship this summer at a middle market mezzanine fund. My goal is to raise my GPA to a 3.55-3.6 before SA recruiting in the fall which is very realistic. However my one question is, would completing a 3/2 MBA from a reputable school be better or make me a more sought out candidate than just completing 4 years of undergrad? Also would completing the PE internship I have for this summer give me a leg up against other candidates in the fall and how would I leverage that experience?
