A run on the retirement plans

The elderly generations (however you might feel about them) are getting seriously manhandled. You see more and more of them having to work jobs when they should be well into retirement. The lack of ability to save up for retirement, not to mention market volatilities that have crashed retirement accounts, inflation, and now high interest rates for everything including credit cards - there will be more and more early withdrawals from retirements to survive. What is the exposure on some companies if we assumed a possible run on retirement funds?
