If you have a job, hold onto it for dear life, There isn't a single Finance job globally going forward right now.

Don't be confused by recruiters and talent acquisition desperately pumping up their KPI numbers to hold their own jobs.

If it helps. Spoke with a friend at HSBC today in London.

They are hiring. Not a tier 1 but decent base and relatively decent comp vs the other T2s (BNP etc).

Big area for them is their MM M&A Franchise. Sellsides mostly.

Maybe it's because you're an absolute loser who spends his time trolling WSO. I've had 4 interviews in the last week set up through recruiters. Very much still opportunities out there and if you've been laid off don't let this sack o' shit get you discouraged.

Moved on to next round for 3. Will never understand people who go to an online forum anonymously to put down people going through some of the worst times of their life. Not the purpose of this site and instantly removes credibility for those trying to use it for its useful and intended purposes. Kick rocks to 4chan

welcome to 2008 again. You kids are in for a massive shock.

Just cause  a company is adversity openings doesn't mean they are hiring. Credit suisse has thousands of openings right now but we all know they ain't hiring.

What level of seniority?

  • Works at Greystar Real Estate Partners

Real estate, so not pure finance, but I'm pretty sure we're still hiring, I just interviewed 3 MBAs yesterday. I know there is a position in SoCal open, and I think a bunch of opportunities for junior guys in Texas/Southeast.
