FMVA is not as well known as other charters and is just a certification with 90-100 hours Financial Modelling and Valuation training and an exam.
The FMVA is provided by Chartered Finance Institute , CFI and they are pretty reputed in the industry but as I said, not as well known as other CFA, CPA, FRM stuff.

No, and most of the time it’a also useless on the edge of ridiculous to add the CFA to your name too … to not mention those who doesn’t have anymore a family name but a list of certifications (MBA, MSC, CFA…)
