Advice for Technicals

Hey guys,

How did y'all study for technicals?

Backgroud: Finance major, only had intro to corporate finance so far. (Time value of money, CAPM, WACC)

Internship will start next semester with a >$400b asset manager, but always liked PE and wanted to at least give IB a try. Thought I should utilize next semester to learn the IB technicals, leverage the network and hopefully later lateral to IBD.

Contrary to how most people on this forum approached prepping technicals (might be time constraints), I dont believe in memorization, I'm more interested in why and how.

Since I'll have more time soon on the internship, I'd like to make a systematic study plan and would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks,

OP here. Were you solely relying on biws400 or are there other resources you found helpful?

What technique did you use when studying biws400 (writing down key/hard concepts, flashcards, etc)?

I did skim through biws400 a while ago, found some of the advanced questions quite challenging tbh...
