Advice to land an Internship

Hey, so I am a rising sophomore at a semi-target school, and decided to try and obtain an internship with a boutique bank. I have already looked up a few local firms, but the problem is that I am not really familiar with what to say to the firms, when i contact them by email, or telephone. So i would greatly appreciate any tips on what to say when contacting the firms to land an internship with the them. Appreciate any help.

1) Use the search function. I wouldn't hire you as an intern even if you called and said you were the son of fucking Blankfein if you can't put forth -some- effort to find the answer. 2) Read these threads: http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/cold-emailing-guide http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/the-art-of-cold-calling http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/forums/how-many-cold-emails-did-you-guys… http://www.wallstreetoasis.com/blog/cold-calling-101
