Aeris Partners SA? Opinions on firm
Wanted to see if anyone has heard/has worked at this firm and what you think. Landed a late SA offer, they're in MM Software M&A.

Career Resources
Great ppl, strong firm
Appreciate it, do you have any insight on firm culture/hours? Seems like they are pretty invested in taking care of juniors, and maybe slightly lower volume will help relative to other firms (I had MM offers but considering this over those). Thanks
I do not. When I interviewed they heavily stressed culture/ppl. They’re high touch with clients, not sure if that necessarily guarantees greater WLB tho
Did you make it through the process? Ended up choosing another bank?
Can't comment on WLB/comp/culture or anything like that, but I cover them and they seem like nice people. Really sharp and good at what they do - high-touch with clients (as mentioned above), MDs execute, fully staffed deal teams (maybe a point in favor of WLB?), very high close rate, and high rate of deals closing above the pitched range. If you like software and you like Boston I have to imagine it's a nice place to be.
Really appreciate the insight- I am very interested in software and want to grow a career that will eventually pivot to software startup scaling and/or VC, so this seemes like a good path to me, and I also felt very comfortable with all members (junior to founding MD) during the interviews, which seemed like a good sign. Location is important to me but in my early 20s I'm more than open to get the life experience of trying new cities, don't see any reason I won't like Boston. Comp is also above street based on my offer. Thanks again.
Additional question, do you think that I would be able to pursue a good MBA if I were to take on the first few years of my career here post SA? I know I'm getting ahead of myself but wonder if the boutique would help or harm significantly.
You would absolutely be able to pivot to MBA, when I was in school they recruited on-campus at the best programs in the Northeast, so MBA programs know the brand
Unfortunately I don't have an answer there. Proximity to HBS/Sloan can't hurt.
