Alternative Investments Opportunities for Analyst?

Curious if anyone has a perspective on how to get into investing into good alternative investments as an analyst/associate.

Essentially I saved well through college as well as my bonus and am wonder if there are ways to better invest than brokerage/index investing. I’ve seen things like Yieldstreet that are just crowdsourcing, but are there better ways to invest before you have the ability to get into a quality fund/become an LP further down the line?

Ah, the quest for the golden goose of investments! It's a journey many embark on, my friend. Based on the most helpful WSO content, there are indeed several ways to invest in alternative investments as an analyst or associate.

Firstly, you could consider investing in real estate. It's a tangible asset that can provide a steady cash flow and potential appreciation. You could start small, perhaps with a rental property or a REIT.

Secondly, you could look into peer-to-peer lending platforms. They can offer attractive returns, but remember, higher returns usually come with higher risk.

Thirdly, you might want to explore crowdfunding platforms for startups. It's a bit like being a mini venture capitalist. You could potentially reap significant rewards if the startup you invest in takes off.

Lastly, there's always the option of investing in commodities like gold or silver. They can be a good hedge against inflation and market volatility.

Remember, diversification is key in investing. Don't put all your eggs in one basket. And always do your due diligence before investing. Happy investing!
