Hi all - I recently found out that Alvarez and Marsal has a small restructuring & special situations investment banking practice. Does anyone have any color on the group? Hours, pay, culture? Would the group be distressed M&A driven, or more balance sheet advisory? How does it fit into A&M as a whole, and win deals? Has anyone interviewed there before?

Anyone have insights here
There are 3 MDs based on NYC office they do mostly restructuring but also some other stuff it’s a group of nice guys. Not sure about the hours etc but I would think it’s maybe a tiny bit better than a EB.
I know someone who worked there he didn’t have anything bad to say about it.
