Am I crazy for wanting to do IB?

Currently work in Real Estate Asset Management at a MF. Cleared over $200k as a second year this past bonus cycle.

The issue is I’m bored of Real Estate and feel trapped in this industry. Maybe acquisitions would have better exit opportunities but nobody values asset management outside of the industry and even within, it sometimes feels like I’m viewed at as BO. It’s not like investment banking roles are easy to get, the market sucks right now and they do not look highly upon real estate experience. Anyone else consider making this move?
