Am i fucked for executing a trade before getting pre clearance?

So long story short I started in my role about 6 months ago. When I joined I disclosed my only personal trading accounts which held 16 shares of Nvidia. My team really emphasised that if I had anything I had to disclose it and it seemed like a really big deal. So a week after starting I just sold my whole position and in the next quarterly report I submitted that I had sold my position and no longer held any securities (stupidly assuming this was a good thing since I wouldn’t have to deal with this hassle anymore). Anyway fast forward to today I receive an email from Compliance with an MD CC’d in, saying that I hadn’t pre cleared the trade and now I’m panicking a bit. Am i going to get fired for this or anything like that? I disclosed everything just didn’t get pre clearance and honestly did not think I was doing anything wrong.
