Any advice on dealing with associate and multiple analyst dynamic?

On a team with another analyst, and having a rough time with the associate constantly speaking down to me, not treating me as part of the team, and showing favoritism.

Very frustrated as 1) I know this is not a performance issue, as I've only heard stellar feedback in every other team I've been on and 2) I feel that the associate's actions is disrespecting me and hurting the team's work quality by ignoring my emails and not including me on emails and discussions. It is a ridiculous situation and I don't know why it is happening.

Not sure if this is something to take up to VP or staffer, if I should just keep my head down and deal with it, or some other path. I'm just trying to do a good job and have a solid reputation, and the associate is making this very difficult. Does anyone have advice?

Have a chat with them directly and raise all of this. Seriously. Then if not seeing improvement / they really do have something against you not related to work product, go to your staffer with specific instances / receipts. You’ll likely get destaffed from work with them, but will protect your reputation as they will look like the bad person - not you.

Thank you brickcage and anonymous VP.

I have a good relationship with staffer so shared some of my more clear evidence with them (email evidence). They marked it down with the associates name and told me to stay on for now and ensure I'm being looped in. Guess we will see how it goes from here, but I feel better that there's a written record that this is going on and it's not just a performance issue.
