APAC BB Exit

Hi all, just got an offer from GS ECM and JPM coverage in HK, I feel really blessed to receive offers from these two and got no preference for their culture whatsoever except exit opportunities, would really appreciate any advice on choosing between these two for better exit into MF/UMM PE in China/HK and perhaps SG. Also, should I go for another recruiting cycle aiming for GS/MS coverage for MF exits or is JPM enough for me? Thanks a lot guys.

Congrats! JPM coverage for sure, you can always lateral to GS or MS if you care about prestige that much but JPM is more than sufficient.

thanks for the insights! guess I’ll go with JPM then since I’m too lazy to do another cycle lol

Thanks! Do you also happen to know which group in JPM gets better placement? I know M&A is usually a good one, but which coverage group in APAC JPM could be ideal for PE exit? Really appreciate any piece of info on this :-)

Pretty sure any coverage is fine. He went to Consumer Retail. I think you're going to get looks no matter which group, maybe if you're going to Natural Resources/Real Estate/FIG your exits may be more specialized, but I don't know enough about buyside recruiting there to comment.
