So I was emailing alumni at a BB and one guy I contacted sent my resume to their branches in Houston and NY...the alumni worked in Houston. I got an interview with their Houston branch today. However, does that mean I'm essentially disqualified from applying to their NY branch? Also, if they ask me if their Houston branch is my first choice, what do you guys suggest I say.

Doesn't mean you are disqualified- the branch offices recruit pretty autonomously in my experience. As for your second question, yes it is definitely your first choice- I doubt they would ask this though- more likely to ask why you want to be in Houston, and you have to come up with some good answers to that.
