Appropriate to take LSAT during analyst training?

Hi all,

First of all, apologies if I posted this in the wrong discussion forum; not entirely sure where I was supposed to post this.

I'm an incoming analyst at a BB, and analyst training starts in early July. I've always wanted to someday go to law school after finishing my analyst stint, so I was planning on taking the LSAT this July.

The problem is, the LSAT exam date is on Monday, July 15th, which conflicts with training. This means that I'd have to take a couple hours off from analyst training in order to take the exam that day. Do you think it'd reflect poorly on me if I asked the training program manager for time off given the LSAT? I was concerned b/c the LSAT is different from finance, so it might give the associates/VPs in my office a bad impression of me if the training program manager were to ever tell them that I was planning on attending law school.

Any advice on how I might best go about this? Thanks very much.

Well, I graduated the beginning of May, so I thought that the June test date wouldn't provide me with enough time to adequately study for the exam, but July would be enough time. I'm reluctant to take it in the fall when I'll be busy with work.
