Are a lot of MD's not involved with recruiting?
Sophomore at a non-target that has been fortunate to meet a lot of people across the banks. Most alums are in senior positions and I've been referred to other MD's which has caused me to network with a lot of older bankers.
It seems like a lot of MD's are pretty clueless about recruiting. I've gotten asked when does recruiting start; I've been told their sophomore programs aren't a formal internship when they most definitely are. And these are people that have said they want to help me.
Now, I'm trying to target younger bankers, but I'm curious if this is generally the case or if they are not as committed to helping me as they seem?
