Are any of your teams having trouble closing deals?
It always seems like something (lack of financing, poor performance, etc.) gets in the way of an official close, even after a deal is already announced. My team has had several deals collapse and we also have a lot of mandates in our pipeline that are on hold or are seemingly going nowhere. Has this been something others have been dealing with?
That's all we have (plus bunch of lost buy sides) for more than a year. Primarily due to differences in valuation expectations and poor capital markets
