yes you’re capped in what you get paid for but not in how much you work.

 

at my bank you don’t get comped for OT (it’s technically “optional”) so expect to make 110 prorated. If you’re at UBS they let you get the OT tho, UBS guys get paid up the ass

 

no shit that’s what it says. what they actually do is illegal, but are you going to litigate that out? no, so they do it. any bank that comps for OT is just because someone in HR didn’t want the potential bad PR, but industry standard is that you’re capped at 85/110/120 prorated
