Deal activity has been relatively shit for the 2022 analyst class - let's get some data here. pls respond with # of *expected closed deals
Would be good to get some data on this. Comment with anticipated # closed deals, firm, product/industry coverage group
Hasn't been too shit for my shop.
Will have 4 under my belt - from pitch to close, 2 partials, and 1 expected to close in Aug/Sept (not included in vote)
Nice! What have your hours been like? Approximate hours/week

5 from pitch to close: 1 in 2022, 3 in 2023, 1 in 2024
nice! wya?
If you’re in the 2022 analyst class, how’d you pitch to close a deal? Assuming you hit the desk in last August / early September, that’s a 3-4 month deal process.
M&a only? Or we counting lead left capital markets stuff
? Of terms. Does "lead left"=DCM?
2021 class - just signed my 10th deal. At a top MM.
Over 40% of analysts with zero closed deals?? I fully expected there to be a decent amount, but 40%+ is shocking. Do people think this data is legit or are people just shit-voting?
Healthcare Coverage
2 closed between 2022 - 2023.
1 in the works this year. Not too many live processes this year...
Based on deal announcements in my group, I’d say ~half of the 2022 analyst class has not been on any M&A deals. Some of them probably did lead left bond deals etc but those don’t count.
? Of terms. Does "lead left"=DCM?
