Ask about my performance now or wait until year-end review?
I used to work in another industry and recently made the switch into IB at a boutique firm. It has been about 4 months into this new job and I haven't had any discussion about my performance or anything but it appears to be going well. Should I wait until the year end review which happens in about 2 months to discuss my performance? I'm mainly concerned about whether I'll get the discretionary bonus and whether I can get a pay raise as my boss told me about the possibility when I interviewed. Does it matter if I bring it up now or should I just wait and see what I get?
