It's pretty to easy to get Associate comp info, just read Dealbreaker. Lots of caps, deferred payouts etc. this year and just shitty as a whole. Not being laid off is the new bonus for career bankers. If i remember correctly, top analysts at JPM got higher bonuses last year than lower-bucket associates this year.

 

well this thread started 5 years ago but whatever.

base comp is 100 in stub (0) year (+ 25 - 40k stub bonus). As for yr 1 2 3, a couple of banks (jpm for example) just announced a cut from 125, 150, 175 for yr 1 2 3 to 120, 140, 160. Some banks were already there.

from what i heard, top bonuses for first years were 100% with average around 60k (again, for first year associates).

if you got zero they are telling you to leave.
