Title pretty much says it… how do you folks keep putting out good work when putting in back to back 2/3ams? Just started as an ANL at a BB and have been getting worked. I'm doing a good job moving at a good clip and not making mistakes, for now, but I feel like the quality is inevitably gonna decline. Wanna make a good name for myself especially early on. Any tips?

People always say this but I feel like this just adds more hours to the day tbh
I mean it definitely does, but I'd rather spend an extra 30mins ticking and tying numbers and catching mistakes / inconsistencies if it means sending off a better product to my Asso. Feel like life has generally gotten a bit better when I've built trust and less time is spent looking over my work

Get a process / checklist to always go through - check page numbers, find double spaces, which numbers to tie out, etc. Maybe even start a mistakes tracker to identify what types of mistakes you tend to repeat and hone in on those over time.
the manifesto checklist is a great book for designing systems for checking work and reducing errors
quite interesting how would you apply this to checkking errors in financial modeling? has anybody done this work already?
