Back to IB after PE

Hey folks - how easy/hard is it to go back to banking after 2 years at a UMM PE fund as an associate?

Worked at a top tier IB group for a year, left slightly early to join PE.

How to explain the narrative of leaving IB and then rejoining. Is this frowned upon?

Thanks!
