Background check question here!

In my application and job history I documented information about all of my past employers but I did not include my father's company. I have done basic bookkeeping work for him for years and am on they payroll for small salary related to it. I didn't include it because the work is not relevant and its for my father which I didn't see as being meaningful to a future employer. Will it show up in background check and raise questions as to why I didn't report it? Should I bring this to their attention? Do people have to list all jobs and will they know? Just so I know for next time. Not trying to hide it just didn't want to waste time on something not applicable.

Going forward I would disclose because it is still experience and every bit helps. I doubt they will ding you for not reporting a job that you did not report. If they were concerned it would be if you were fired, however, you should be able to calm their nerves.

Only two sources I trust, Glenn Beck and singing woodland creatures.
