Bad dual enrollment grades from high school
Hi monkeys!
I am a high school senior who has been attending a STEM high school dual enrollment program with a university for the last two years. I will be attending a southern non-target with a full ride scholarship for national merit later this year. Unfortunately, I just found out that my grades from my dual enrollment classes will factor into my overall GPA at my new school. This is very bad, because I did quite poorly in many of my classes. I really do not like STEM courses, but have been forced to take a bunch of classes like College Physics, Computer Science, Cellular Biology, College Chemistry I and II, etc them as part of the school's core curriculum.
I already got lowkey fucked by the college admissions process, and I'm scared that these bad grades will haunt me for getting a job in finance later, which is already hard enough coming from a non-target. Overall, I have about 79 credit hours transferring over and will finish high school with a 3.11 college GPA overall (with 4 C's and 1 D, all in STEM courses).
These courses will be factoring into my overall GPA at the state school which I'm attending this fall, which is really bad. For example, if I get a 4.0 for both semesters my Freshman year, I would still have a 3.4 GPA overall. Would I have to list my overall GPA on my resume? Or just my GPA from the state school that I'm attending? I am probably trying to transfer after my Freshman year to a target/semi-target and I just really hope that my mistakes from high school don't continue to fuck me over.
Thanks for your advice!
