I'm not so sure that it's a bad idea to join a LF group. People are being really short-sighted here. The next few weeks/months are going to be awful for LF and we probably won't return to the "golden age of PE," but there still will be a need for LF and you get hardcore financial training doing lev fin. PE shops are still going to want to recruit lev fin guys in two years.
